Course Architect: Harold Newgate<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Beginning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Founded in the year 2000 by local golf enthusiasts, with a course designed by architect Harold Newgate. Harold is one of the five founders of the Compact Golf Club. He is an avid golfer\/architect with a passion for sustainable architecture. When presented with the challenge of designing the Compact golf course he set out to create a an exciting 18-hole layout that maintained harmony with the original natural environment. Native flora, fauna, and topography were taken into consideration during the careful design process of this course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
